VIDEO - John Kay on regulation and stewardship

John Kay spoke his mind at the Sustainable Finance Lab in Utrecht about what the modern economy should be like in his opinion. He sees a great need for change in the asset management culture. After his lecture a  panel with Gerben Everts (Financial Markets Authority), Antoinette van Lier (Ownership Capital), Lars Dijkstra (Kempen Capital Management and SHIFTTO.org ) and Theo Kocken (Cardano, VU university) discussed the relevance for the Dutch pension funds. Should there be a decrease in regulation? Watch the video for their comments on beta, alpha, benchmarks and the focus on ROI and tracking errors.
